Who we are

Trendometer ("we", "us") operates the Trendometer website and related services available at tm.ohmgp.com. This policy explains what information we collect and how it is used.

Information we collect

• Account information — if you create a profile, we store your chosen username, an internal account identifier, and an email address derived from that identifier (e.g. [email protected]). Where you sign in through Discord, we store your Discord user ID only.
• Usage data — standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, retained for security and abuse prevention.
• Content you submit — playlists, uploads and other material you choose to add to the service.

What we do not collect

• We do not request or store your Discord account password; authentication is handled by Discord.
• We do not sell, rent or trade personal data to third parties.
• We do not use third-party advertising trackers on this service.

How information is used

• To operate and improve the service.
• To display content you have chosen to publish (including public playlists and profile pages).
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers (hosting, content delivery and DNS) that process data on our behalf under their own terms. Authentication is provided by Discord and Google; their handling of your data is governed by their respective privacy policies.

OAuth / Google account access

Where you authorise Trendometer to access a Google or YouTube account, we request only the permission needed to publish and manage content on your behalf. Authorisation tokens are stored securely, used solely for the function you enabled, and can be revoked by you at any time from your Google Account security settings.

Data retention

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account exists or as long as needed to provide the service. Server logs are rotated on a routine basis.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your profile and content from the service.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
